Can someone please help me with an intro and what I should talk about. I have to compare 3 types of renewable energy sources. I already chose geothermal energy but I need two more, which 2 are also the best?
I have no idea how to start it, should I start talking about one source or introduce them all together? HELP PLEASE
talk about all 3 in your intro then in your body paragraphs talk about about each one separately. Some other ideas: cars running on water, solar panels, wind power
hope i helped

I have to write a report comparing and contrasting 3 types of renewable energy sources. One of my chosen ones is already geothermal, can you give me two more renewable energy sources that are considered the best ones? Because I have to choose which one is the best and explain why it is.
Thanks.
By the way if you can, make sure it's a good source for CANADA.
There is no single best source. What works best in one area may not work at all in another. Solar is great, but only works when the sun is out, wind can work 24/7 but many areas the winds are seasonal. geothermal only works in specific geographical areas and is impractical for individual use. The best is a combination of energy sources to ensure no interuption in service.

I need to do a biography on a significant person in renewable energy, but I can't find anything on the Internet. Could you please send me a site where I can find a biography?
Look up T. Boone Pickens. He is a former oil man and corporate raider who has a ton of money and wants to do wind farms all over the place.
He became famous in the 1980's be acquiring big oil companies then selling them off (in whole or in part) and made a ton of money.

I know he's done a lot to make sure that we have an adequate supply of oil but what has he done to make renewable energy more practical for the future in terms of research and funding?
~please include websites for me to read up on
i'm thinking, i'm thinking.
seems i'll have to get back to you on that.
you could say corn ethanol, but that's raised the cost of food, and with an expanding population, that's surely not going to be practical in the future.

I am doing research in the area of renewable energy diffusion modelling and would like to receive methods used for simliar concepts or research.
you can try this web page and see if it has anything in it that will help you.

I'm looking for sites that contain statistics, charts, diagrams of how much fossil fuels countries use, and how much progress they've made in using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear power.
Here's a site, but it only shows statistics for US, the site has many pie charts:

What are some ways energy is waasted?
Whatypes of energy are popular in oyur native countr? (state your country)
What is the main problem with renewable energy sources?
You can't make development of renewable energy an "economic" priority.
You can make it a "political" priority or a "scientific" priority. The economy has his own rule and it doesn't take orders: that is, the renewable nergy will become a priority by itself when the other energy sources will go away or become too expensive.
The science is working on it, we don't have a problem with that. Lots of research money are spent all over the world on this subject.
But the main problem with renewable technology is that is too expensive. Oil is just too cheap. the nature gives it for free, you just have to pump it out. But oil will increase in price as the supplies shrink, and it will finally come to the breaking point when it will become slightly more expensive than, say, biodiesel (wich will become cheaper doe to technological advances). That will be the defining moment that will turn the economy around. But it will happen naturally and gradually, driven by price, like the transition from wood to electricity in home heating and cooking.

I really like finding out information on go green and renewable energy. But i don’t know what major, or what college would be best for it.
It depends on where you go. Some schools offer fantastic academic support…but you also want to be exposed to local, state, national, and international people and programs in order to apply your knowledge.
I am going to tell you right now…I am going to sell you my school so be prepared.
I am an Earth and Environmental Engineering major, I have so many opportunities because of where it is–NYC (Columbia U).
We have lots of affiliates so it provides great internships on renewable energy along with sustainable development, water sanitation (my concentration), along with things that go right in hand with energy like economic development, policy, etc.
There is also an INCREDIBLY large outreach to the international community which gives students and opportunity to see how non-US administrations go about tackling energy related issues.

i need to no the impact that renewable energy has in Australia for my science assignment…
1The biggest error is that fossil fuel is not renewable.
Plants take in our CO2 and give us back the O2. The plants keep the C which will break down into oil,& gas…
